Meet Your Match, a brand new (free!) service for the UK FIFA 09 community, has quietly hit the big scary Internet and we'd like you to check it out.

Meet Your Match is dedicated to bringing FIFA 09 players together offline to face each other in live competitive action. It's all about the real world, and with events taking place regularly all over the country, you should never be short of a place to showboat your skills.

Log in to the site using your usual Football World details and you'll be able to browse a range of organised events, each one hosted and managed in selected venues. Find an event that suits you and, assuming there are still spaces free, you can sign up to attend at the click of a button.

More tournaments and locations will be added over time, and they will feature a range of game types, from solo play to 10 v 10 team play and everything in between.

Talking of team play, you can also use the site to create and manage your own team of star FIFA players! Organising online match-ups for fun should be a breeze, too.

The site will be the place to come to see results from all the tournaments, as well as being regularly updated with news and articles from key events. It will also track your performances. The more events you attend and the better you do, the better your standing on the Meet Your Match leaderboard.
