Meet Your Match Kicks Off

In case you hadn't spotted it already, Meet Your Match is a brand new (beta) website dedicated to bringing FIFA players together in real-world venues to compete in tournaments.
The site launched last week and the first ever Meet Your Match event took place on Sunday 2nd November at GAME ARENA in Wigan.
With the able assistance of indomitable MYM organiser Matt (say hi to him in the MYM forums HERE) and the venue's owner and captain, Nick Berry, the event went off brilliantly and, judging from the photos (HERE) everyone had a right good time.
Martin Sheels (Latics123) took the top prize on the day. Well done you! The also-rans ranked as follows:

3. Andrew Wilson (WilsonAFC)
4. Danny Crabtree (Dan1592)
5. Thomas Kelly (Tommyk505)
Good work the lot of you! And if any of you lads spot this article, be sure to drop a comment below and let people know your Gamertag or PSN ID so Football World's would-be challengers can congratulate you as well. Presumably with none-too-gentle smacktalk and generous offers of on-pitch humiliation.

So, Meet Your Match is full steam ahead. Events continue to be organised across the country, with new venues jumping on board all the time.
